ALLBREEDS GROOMING - HISTORY
Allbreeds Grooming & Training is located in Tonypandy in the Rhondda Fawr
Valley, or Mid Glamorgan as we prefer the
old ‘Shires’ reference! The business
is owned by me and my husband, Maria &
Byron Parnell, operating from a modern
and spacious Salon with ample free car parking
located at Unit 2C, Tonypandy Industrial
Estate, Llwynypia Road.
I am a Qualified and Insured Groomer, Defra
Licensed for Animal Transportation/Handling
and an Accredited Tutor & Training Centre
offering private Courses to Owners’
wishing to learn how to groom their own pets,
or individual’s seeking to learn how
to groom professionally in order to start
up their own business. As life long animal
lovers, between us we have many years experience
working with dogs and have encountered just
about every sort of canine character, trait,
temperament, foible and attitude!
Our canine clients are treated just like
‘extended family’….we
share each new little life and passing veteran
with our owners, and experience all the emotions
that go hand in hand with being a devoted
and loving dog owner!!
After launching Allbreeds Grooming in early
2006 from our home based premises, recommendations
flooded in. With over 400 regular clients
on the books to date, the dedication, love
and attention given to our canine clients
has more than proved itself. I was thrilled
that our success meant my husband could join
the family business in 2009 full time. Since
then, we expanded further to a fabulous
Salon at the Woodlands Business Centre in
Coed Ely in early 2011. Parking restrictions
and the need for even more space to run the
Allbreeds Dog Grooming Salon and the Allbreeds
Dog Grooming Academy Courses have forced
us to find more suitable premises. Allbreeds
Grooming and Training will operate from Unit
2C, Llwynypia Road, Tonypandy Industrial
Estate, Mid Glamorgan, CF40 2ET from December
2011 or early January 2012.
Our company mission statement is simple but
heartfelt:-
 “We love dogs, we love all animals,
but with dogs we believe they should be pampered,
indulged, cosseted and cared for with the
utmost love and respect; shown the same loyalty,
love and devotion that they unselfishly and
unconditionally give to us! They are part
of our lives for such a short time in years,
be worthy of their selfless devotion.”
Allbreeds service operates on a very individual
basis with only 6-8 appointments available
daily. It means that I can work ‘one-on-one’
with each dog so that they are never left
hanging around in a crate all day. Our
Salon provides large, walk in holding runs,
along with ultra large holding crates that
your dog can move about freely within…..we
do not bundle them into cramped cages for
the whole day!
BONUS….we have a large outside very secure
play/exercise area where your dog will be
taken, on lead if you prefer, to stretch
their legs and toilet whilst between grooming
treatments….we ensure clean fresh
drinking water is available at all times,
and if you permit us to, we’ll ‘sensibly’
spoil them with tiny nibbles and treats!
Owners tell us we’re a bit like a day
at Alton Towers for their dogs who sulk when
they have to go home.
We also ‘organise’ our appointments
each day so that we don’t have a boisterous
fun bully intimidating all within earshot,
attending at the same time as a nervous,
wall flower. Salon harmony and relaxation
is paramount in our care and attention to
your dog, so that they enjoy visiting their
“Auntie M and Uncle Byron” as
much as we enjoy having them!!
From the free collection from your home,
your dog is delivered back to you safe and
sound usually no longer than 4-5 hours later
with most dogs returning home no later than
3-4pm. We offer various other popular services
to assist our clients in getting their dog
groomed by Allbreeds - please ask for
